![]() The contents of the package include an instruction manual and the M590 which comes with a AA battery pre-installed, and there is an universal dongle if one wants to use it instead of bluetooth. The unboxing experience is not premium, and that is not an issue for me. The plastic packaging is quite easy to open and does not make it unnecessarily difficult to open it. The mouse comes in a fairly simple plastic packaging with easy to pull out plastic tabs. This review goes over the features and experiences with the M590 which in most cases will be similar to the M585. If you don't really care for a silent click, then you may as well go for the M585. The main - and, probably the only - difference between the two is that the buttons of the M590 are less noisy (by about 90% according to Logitech). When you first consider buying the M590, you may also have noticed the M585 which seems to offer almost exactly the same feature set at a marginally lower price. Nevertheless, the M590 provides most of the features of the MX series of mice at a more affordable price. Those mice are a more premium range of devices in the line-up of Logitech's mice. ![]() The mouse is best suited for creative professionals who are working on a limited budget and cannot go for the more expensive MX Anywhere or MX Master series. For an average consumer who is looking to do only basic tasks such as browsing the web or word processing, there may be better alternatives at a lower price point, but there are certain aspects of this mouse that is unparalleled. ![]()
